Versioned N/M workspace snapshots
Create, validate, share, and inspect deterministic read-only multi-file source bundles with bounded reproducibility metadata.
Workspace snapshot 0.1 compatibility contract
A snapshot is a deterministic, read-only source bundle. The reader validates paths, modules, dependency graphs, source fingerprints, execution metadata, and strict format fields without executing shared code.
Supported reader version: 0.1
Fragment-first sharing
New share links keep encoded source in the URL fragment, which browsers do not send in the HTTP request. Links remain unencrypted and should be treated as readable source artifacts.
Reproducibility, not authentication
FNV-1a fingerprints detect accidental or obvious payload changes and identify reproducible inputs. They are not signatures and do not establish an author identity.
CLI workflow
nm workspace snapshot main.nmnm workspace validate workspace.snapshot.json --jsonnm workspace share main.nmSchema and limits
The runtime-generated JSON Schema and validator reject unknown properties and enforce the same version and document-count contract. Aggregate source limits are measured as UTF-8 bytes.

Stable diagnostic families
Consumers can branch on these codes instead of parsing localized or evolving error prose.

Promotion remains closed until at least 100 started viewer sessions are observed for 14 days with at least 99.5% completed viewers, zero validation crashes, and no more than 0.5% unknown failures. A page-lifetime random observation ID correlates started and result events. Sanitized raw events remain only inside the declared analytics retention window for authorized evidence review; the generated report discards event and observation IDs. Source, names, hashes, fragments, IPs, user agents, and cookies are excluded.
G11 accepts only a retained nm-workspace-snapshot-operations-export@0.1 export containing strict sanitized analytics records. Raw events have a maximum 30-day retention. The reader bounds the source to 100000 events / 16 MB, rejects unknown fields, duplicate event IDs, contradictory phases and out-of-window records, correlates by observation + operation + phase, and removes event and observation identities from the report. The export and authorized review remain required; the aggregate JSON alone is not production evidence.

The 0.1 reader remains supported. A stable reader cannot be removed without a public changelog entry, replacement guidance, and at least 90 days of notice unless a new major contract is introduced.
