Know what is stable before you depend on it

Review product version, capability status, open release gates, dependencies, evidence sources, known limits, and the exact boundary between local checks and external promotion evidence.

Capability and Release Center

This center is projected from the checked-in version manifest and capability stability registry. It does not infer a release from a passing local build.

Preview

Promotion reports are review inputs only. They do not mutate the manifest, approve a release, create missing G3/G11 evidence, or promote experimental work directly to stable.

Requirements passed

The overall preview label is valid only while all four product-spine requirements remain satisfied.

  • Stable parser and statevector core3 checked-in evidence references
  • Usable workspace product spine4 checked-in evidence references
  • Version-aligned tooling product spine3 checked-in evidence references
  • Transparent stable, preview, and experimental separation3 checked-in evidence references

Release history

Manifest history and the latest per-capability review date (2026-09-24) are shown separately from CI or operational promotion evidence.

  1. v0.2.02026-09-26
    PreviewPreview

Coordinated 0.2.0 preview for the expanded language, numerical library, training workflows and toolchain. New sessions use the default language profile; saved feature choices and supported 0.1.0 artifacts remain readable. Capability statuses and artifact format versions are unchanged.

  2. v0.1.02026-07-15
    ExperimentalPreview

Promoted the overall N/M product label to preview after the stable parser/statevector core, usable workspace spine, version-aligned tooling, and gate-transparent capability matrix were verified; experimental N/M 0.2 capabilities remain explicit opt-ins.

Strict G3/G11 evidence evaluator

The bounded evidence reader and recomputation tools are downloaded only when you choose to inspect an exact candidate.

Capability contracts and promotion gates

Expand any capability to inspect its contract version, owner, surfaces, dependencies, limitations, G1-G12 gate states, and evidence references.

Exact-candidate G3 evidence

The automated matrix stays open until 5 frozen suites produce all 12 Node shards, 4 Python shards, plus 1 production Chromium shard in one workflow run and attempt for one repository and commit. It accounts for 53 capabilities without converting a local run into remote evidence.

Separate hardware/provider evidence remains explicit: hardwareExecution.

Trust boundary: The JSON is not a cryptographic signature and does not replace retained GitHub run artifacts or real hardware/provider operations evidence.

The machine-readable promotion evaluator applies preview-to-stable-only, checks dependency closure, and only proposes candidates. It never edits the manifest or approves a release.

Reviewed production G11 evidence

The compact operational contract binds 6 reviewed production suites to one repository and candidate SHA, covering 7 capabilities without retaining raw events in the readiness report.

Capabilities without sufficient shared operational coverage remain on explicit evidence tracks: hardwareExecution.

Trust boundary: The JSON is not a signature, anonymous event counts do not prove distinct users, it does not replace each retained privacy-reviewed source export, and it cannot cover hardware without its separate provider evidence track.

Why this is not more stable

  • NM-RFC-0015 is proposed and disabled by default. It supports compile-time Int parameters, exact-width disjoint QReg views, Angle parameters, bounded modifiers, and deterministic monomorphization; it does not support runtime-sized registers or generic values at runtime.
  • The exact algorithms.fourier@0.5 facade is ready only for QFT/IQFT widths one through five. Generic Grover remains governed by NM-RFC-0010, while QPE, arbitrary multi-control synthesis, higher statevector ceilings, and a stable-language claim remain out of scope.

Why this is not more stable

  • NM-RFC-0016 is proposed, disabled by default, and limited to one published physical Pauli error per round for one exact qec.*@0.4 correction artifact. Rounds are compile-time bounded to one through eight.
  • The trace is a deterministic algebraic projection. It is not stochastic noise, circuit-level syndrome extraction, a multi-round decoder, a threshold or logical-error-rate estimate, fault tolerance, or hardware evidence.
  • JSON IR preserves the exact artifact. OpenQASM 2/3, framework, and target-native exporters fail closed until a versioned carrier exists.

Why this is not more stable

  • NM-RFC-0017 is proposed, disabled by default, and limited to five browser-statevector qubits, four profiles, eight channels per profile, 4,096 shots, and probabilities through 0.25.
  • Contract 0.1 supports gate-scoped local Pauli/amplitude/phase trajectories, one atomic correlated Pauli word, and scoped symmetric readout in source order. It does not model leakage, crosstalk, density matrices, idle time, pulses, or calibration snapshots.
  • JSON IR preserves the resolved carrier. OpenQASM 2/3, framework, formatter, and target-native projections fail closed until versioned carriers can preserve scopes and ordering.

Why this is not more stable

  • NM-RFC-0011 is disabled by default. Tier 1 enumerates at most eight conditioning measurements; noise, budget overflow, unsupported proofs, and undeclared invariants remain explicitly Tier 2 sampled.
  • Execution and verification evidence are local-simulator results. They do not claim provider conditional support, hardware feed-forward latency, multi-round QEC decoding, or fault tolerance.
  • The local eight-measurement, 256-path Tier 1 performance ratchet and deterministic hostile-predicate fuzz profile are complete and configured on Windows/Linux Node 20/22; exact-candidate remote evidence and named review remain open.

Why this is not more stable

  • NM-RFC-0012 is disabled by default. It accepts one positive compile-time K up to 4,096, requires an explicit seed and one final measure_all binding, and rejects noise, mitigation, scalar measurements, and sample/collect combinations.
  • The GF(2) module is a bounded Core artifact API, not an in-oracle reversible operation. Generic Simon remains out of scope until separate statevector representation work and an end-to-end N >= 3 range are complete.

Why this is not more stable

  • NM-RFC-0014 is disabled by default. Its closed integer grammar produces compile-time dimensions only; it does not add runtime-sized values, raise backend ceilings, or remove the 32-iteration and 4,096-shot budgets.
  • Canonical structure provenance covers direct gate-only Angle vectors, repeat bodies, and for ranges. Nested structures, arbitrary circuit-call spelling, AST comment/trivia recovery, signatures, and legacy expanded-sidecar migration without source recompilation remain unsupported.

Why this is not more stable

  • NM-RFC-0001 is enabled in new user sessions; saved settings and low-level explicit contexts are preserved. It does not implement package publication exports, re-exports, friend modules, or source-version negotiation.
  • The local 5,000-document, 20,000-declaration workspace ratchet is complete at 476.05 ms p95 and 33,218,560 RSS bytes; remote Windows/Linux Node 20/22 CLI and LSP evidence for the exact release candidate remains open.

Why this is not more stable

  • NM-RFC-0002 includes a strict local lock validator, negotiated CLI/LSP/VS Code carriers, and exact curated-registry resolution but does not implement ranges, aliases, transitive solving, network loading, or signed publication.
  • Local conformance and the 100-package lock ratchet are complete at 109.27 ms p95 and 31,690,752 RSS bytes; remote Windows/Linux Node 20/22 evidence for the exact release candidate remains open.

Why this is not more stable
