Know what is stable before you depend on it

Review product version, capability status, open release gates, dependencies, evidence sources, known limits, and the exact boundary between local checks and external promotion evidence.

Capability and Release Center

This center is projected from the checked-in version manifest and capability stability registry. It does not infer a release from a passing local build.

Preview

Promotion reports are review inputs only. They do not mutate the manifest, approve a release, create missing G3/G11 evidence, or promote experimental work directly to stable.

Requirements passed

The overall preview label is valid only while all four product-spine requirements remain satisfied.

  • Stable parser and statevector core3 checked-in evidence references
  • Usable workspace product spine4 checked-in evidence references
  • Version-aligned tooling product spine3 checked-in evidence references
  • Transparent stable, preview, and experimental separation3 checked-in evidence references

Release history

Manifest history and the latest per-capability review date (2026-09-24) are shown separately from CI or operational promotion evidence.

  1. v0.2.02026-09-26
    PreviewPreview

Coordinated 0.2.0 preview for the expanded language, numerical library, training workflows and toolchain. New sessions use the default language profile; saved feature choices and supported 0.1.0 artifacts remain readable. Capability statuses and artifact format versions are unchanged.

  2. v0.1.02026-07-15
    ExperimentalPreview

Promoted the overall N/M product label to preview after the stable parser/statevector core, usable workspace spine, version-aligned tooling, and gate-transparent capability matrix were verified; experimental N/M 0.2 capabilities remain explicit opt-ins.

Strict G3/G11 evidence evaluator

The bounded evidence reader and recomputation tools are downloaded only when you choose to inspect an exact candidate.

Exact-candidate G3 evidence

The automated matrix stays open until 5 frozen suites produce all 12 Node shards, 4 Python shards, plus 1 production Chromium shard in one workflow run and attempt for one repository and commit. It accounts for 53 capabilities without converting a local run into remote evidence.

Separate hardware/provider evidence remains explicit: hardwareExecution.

Trust boundary: The JSON is not a cryptographic signature and does not replace retained GitHub run artifacts or real hardware/provider operations evidence.

The machine-readable promotion evaluator applies preview-to-stable-only, checks dependency closure, and only proposes candidates. It never edits the manifest or approves a release.

Reviewed production G11 evidence

The compact operational contract binds 6 reviewed production suites to one repository and candidate SHA, covering 7 capabilities without retaining raw events in the readiness report.

Capabilities without sufficient shared operational coverage remain on explicit evidence tracks: hardwareExecution.

Trust boundary: The JSON is not a signature, anonymous event counts do not prove distinct users, it does not replace each retained privacy-reviewed source export, and it cannot cover hardware without its separate provider evidence track.

Why this is not more stable

  • Contract 0.1 is local-only, capped at 50 projects, and FNV integrity is tamper evidence rather than an author signature; cross-device synchronization remains out of scope.
  • Collaboration contract 0.1 keeps at most 20 revision snapshots per project, scans only the first 4,096 source characters per file for search, and caps each diff side at 200 displayed changed lines while retaining full counts and hashes.
  • Cross-surface handoff is an integrity-protected URL-fragment carrier, not a signature or remote share service; it preserves source, target, seed, dataset, project, learning, and return context without requiring an account.
  • The 50-project maximum-capacity ratchet is complete and configured on Windows/Linux Node 20/22; remote matrix evidence for the current candidate remains open.
  • The strict privacy-minimized operations export and evaluator are complete; promotion still requires a reviewed real 14-day window with at least 100 sessions and 100 persistence operations.

Why this is not more stable

  • Contract 0.2 benchmarks local expectation workloads across five optimizers and frozen supervised datasets across the genuinely supported GD/Momentum/Adam set; unsupported supervised optimizers fail instead of being silently downgraded.
  • Durations are environment-specific. The local maximum-profile performance ratchet is complete; remote Windows/Linux Node 20/22 conformance evidence for the current candidate remains open.

Why this is not more stable

  • Contract 0.1 is local-only, capped at 200 records, and has no remote synchronization or cross-device conflict resolution.
  • Playground and Quantum AI records are projected into a project activity timeline only when run ids or source hashes match; the projection is capped at 300 events and does not mutate the canonical history.
  • The Windows/Linux browser/Node 20/22 migration and maximum-carrier workflow is configured, but remote matrix evidence remains open.

Why this is not more stable

  • NM-RFC-0004 is disabled by default and provides deterministic supervised validation, early stopping, step scheduling, and in-memory best-parameter checkpoint restoration only after explicit feature negotiation.
  • Durable exact-GD persistence/resume is a separate NM-RFC-0009 capability; arbitrary validation splits and composed schedulers remain outside this source-syntax slice. A local 8-parameter/100-step maximum-workload ratchet exists; the current candidate still needs a Windows/Linux Node 20/22 parity and performance matrix rerun.

Why this is not more stable

  • NM-RFC-0009 is disabled by default and supports durable exact continuation for GD only; Momentum, Adam, SPSA, and QNG optimizer state is rejected instead of reset silently.
  • The artifact embeds bounded source and training history, uses FNV-1a integrity for accidental corruption detection rather than cryptographic authenticity, and has no remote object-store transport.

Why this is not more stable

  • NM-RFC-0005 is enabled in new CLI, LSP, VS Code, MCP and Playground sessions. Low-level Core and Worker calls retain explicit feature contexts; saved settings are preserved.
  • Float sin/cos/sqrt/exp/log/log1p/expm1/tanh/sigmoid/abs/floor/ceil/round share bounded runtime and IDE signatures. Trigonometric inputs use radians; sqrt needs nonnegative input, and its parameter-dependent zero derivative is unsupported. Direct gate math additionally requires classicalFunctions and uses the adjoint chain rule for training.
  • The base typed-value slice remains immutable with literal indices. With classicalFunctions, pure helpers additionally support bounded for loops, mutable Int/Float locals and runtime-checked Int indexing. Analytic training supports documented differentiable accumulators and parameter-independent index paths; unsupported parameter-dependent discrete choices report diagnostics. Unbounded loops and recursive calls remain unsupported. The current Windows/Linux Node 20/22 conformance and performance matrix remains open.

Why this is not more stable

  • NM-RFC-0006 is disabled by default and requires explicit Core, CLI, LSP, VS Code, Worker, or Playground negotiation.
  • Connectivity comparison is exact and max_error uses a versioned bounded reference model, not live hardware calibration. The Windows/Linux Node 20/22 conformance matrix remains open.

Why this is not more stable

  • NM-RFC-0007 is enabled in new CLI, MCP, LSP, VS Code and Playground sessions. Low-level Core and Worker calls retain explicit feature contexts; saved settings are preserved.
  • Contract 0.2 supports Result<T, Error> on main with exactly one final top-level ok(value) or bounded symbolic error return; named functions, branch-sensitive returns, propagation operators, free-form errors, and exceptions remain outside this slice. The Windows/Linux Node 20/22 conformance matrix remains open.

Why this is not more stable

  • NM-RFC-0010 is disabled by default. It provides compile-time typed XorOracle and PhaseOracle declarations, bounded modifiers, and deterministic monomorphization; it does not provide runtime-sized registers or dynamic oracle values.
  • DJ/BV structural verification supports N <= 99 when the existing stabilizer backend is eligible. Exhaustive verification and Grover remain capped at total width five; generic Simon, QPE, general multi-control synthesis, and statevector ceiling changes remain out of scope.
