Know what is stable before you depend on it
Review product version, capability status, open release gates, dependencies, evidence sources, known limits, and the exact boundary between local checks and external promotion evidence.
Capability and Release Center
This center is projected from the checked-in version manifest and capability stability registry. It does not infer a release from a passing local build.
Promotion reports are review inputs only. They do not mutate the manifest, approve a release, create missing G3/G11 evidence, or promote experimental work directly to stable.

Release history
Manifest history and the latest per-capability review date (2026-09-24) are shown separately from CI or operational promotion evidence.
v0.2.02026-09-26PreviewPreviewCoordinated 0.2.0 preview for the expanded language, numerical library, training workflows and toolchain. New sessions use the default language profile; saved feature choices and supported 0.1.0 artifacts remain readable. Capability statuses and artifact format versions are unchanged.
v0.1.02026-07-15ExperimentalPreviewPromoted the overall N/M product label to preview after the stable parser/statevector core, usable workspace spine, version-aligned tooling, and gate-transparent capability matrix were verified; experimental N/M 0.2 capabilities remain explicit opt-ins.
Strict G3/G11 evidence evaluator
The bounded evidence reader and recomputation tools are downloaded only when you choose to inspect an exact candidate.
Capability contracts and promotion gates

Showing 58 of 58 capabilities.
Exact-candidate G3 evidence
The automated matrix stays open until 5 frozen suites produce all 12 Node shards, 4 Python shards, plus 1 production Chromium shard in one workflow run and attempt for one repository and commit. It accounts for 53 capabilities without converting a local run into remote evidence.
Separate hardware/provider evidence remains explicit: hardwareExecution.
Trust boundary: The JSON is not a cryptographic signature and does not replace retained GitHub run artifacts or real hardware/provider operations evidence.
The machine-readable promotion evaluator applies preview-to-stable-only, checks dependency closure, and only proposes candidates. It never edits the manifest or approves a release.
Reviewed production G11 evidence
The compact operational contract binds 6 reviewed production suites to one repository and candidate SHA, covering 7 capabilities without retaining raw events in the readiness report.
Capabilities without sufficient shared operational coverage remain on explicit evidence tracks: hardwareExecution.
Trust boundary: The JSON is not a signature, anonymous event counts do not prove distinct users, it does not replace each retained privacy-reviewed source export, and it cannot cover hardware without its separate provider evidence track.

Why this is not more stable
- Explicit classicalFunctions and typedClassicalValues options enable bounded pure helpers, const-size generics, arrays, Bool controls, mutable accumulators, Matrix/Complex values and nominal record/enum types. Result and workspace visibility paths additionally require their own options. Unbounded loops and recursive calls are unsupported.
- Documented differentiable paths include bounded accumulation loops, real-parameter Matrix/Complex operations, nominal numeric leaves and selected Result recovery. Unsupported parameter-dependent discrete indexing and readout decisions report diagnostics. Custom supervised losses retain split isolation and shared execution budgets; simulator training does not establish quantum advantage.
- Core/CLI/MCP, real browser Worker and installed VSIX acceptance are local evidence. Package publication, the exact-candidate remote platform matrix and stable compatibility guarantees are not claimed.

Why this is not more stable
- parameterGroups is enabled in new user sessions; explicit saved settings are preserved. Named scalar/vector members support bounded zip or Cartesian sweeps with explicit axes, point counts and work budgets; this is not an unbounded distributed search or a trainable group abstraction.
- Core, CLI and Playground execute grouped sweeps and replay the selected point with its original source/context. LSP/VS Code expose group editing and debugger support; MCP parses, runs and exports the current assignments but does not provide a grouped-sweep tool. Importing a point record never grants its stored experimental permissions.

Why this is not more stable
- computeApply is enabled in new user sessions; explicit saved settings are preserved. Adjacent compute/apply blocks execute preparation, application and the checked inverse using captured arguments. Both bodies must remain unitary: measurement, reset, noise and classical mutation are rejected, including hidden effects. Reversal does not guarantee zero ancillas.
- Analytic derivatives require documented noiseless exact-expectation paths; existing backend and work limits remain. QASM2/QASM3 and framework exports represent the fixed unitary circuit and require the matching validated source sidecar for recovery; they reject observation and training programs. Imported IR or source records cannot enable permissions automatically.
- Local Core/CLI/MCP, browser Worker and installed VSIX checks cover source diagnostics, phase stepping/replay and source recovery. Stable promotion, remote conformance and npm/Marketplace publication remain separate requirements.

Why this is not more stable
- The local 100-qubit performance ratchet is complete and configured on Windows/Linux Node 20/22; remote conformance evidence for the current candidate remains open.
- Noise, mitigation, arbitrary rotations, gradients, weighted expectations, fidelity/equivalence checks, and amplitude visualization are not stabilizer-native in contract 0.1.
- The bounded scale view replaces dense circuit diagrams only for 13-100-qubit stabilizer runs. Exact graph adjacency is emitted only for canonical graph-state generators; syndrome history retains at most 4,096 events and the UI shows a bounded window.

Why this is not more stable
- The local one-megabyte formatter ratchet is complete and configured on Node 20/22 Windows/Linux; remote byte-parity evidence for the current candidate remains open.
- Formatting intentionally normalizes leading indentation and trailing horizontal whitespace; it is not a byte-preserving no-op.

Why this is not more stable
- Contract 0.2 supports full-document and bounded incremental sync plus a shared localized capability-catalog request over stdio; cancellation requests, dynamic registration, and non-VS Code client certification remain outside the frozen matrix. The remote Ubuntu Node 22 CI result is still required for the current candidate.

Why this is not more stable
- The Windows/Linux and Node 20/22 benchmark matrix has not completed on the current candidate.
- The local 5,000-document incremental ratchet is complete, but the current candidate still needs the remote four-platform result before promotion.
