The Bloch sphere gives a single-qubit state a position: north is |0>, south is |1>, and the equator holds balanced superpositions.

A state vector can feel abstract, but the Bloch picture turns amplitudes into direction. The Z axis tracks the |0> versus |1> balance, while the X/Y plane tracks phase-sensitive superpositions.
Practice task
